The CL 500iM runs fully air-cooled and omits the optical isolator, collapsing the optics train to a hand-guided head you wheel to the workpiece. Against the water-cooled CL 500 at the same power tier, it trades throughput-in-a-cell for on-site reach — 120 ns pulses at 50–500 kHz stripping rust, weld oxide, and coatings where they sit.
